Abstract

The most important theory in P. A. is psychic determinism. Psychic determinism must always have causality before an event. Occasionally, we cannot find causality at a conscious level; then Freud introduced the Unconsciousness. With the introduction of the Unconsciousness, P. A. could apply this theory in an, almost, psychic method. Also, another characteristic in P. A. is the ability to use psychic apparatus, which can help explain psychic world. Buddhism is also similar with these important points. Buddhism has the ability to use psychic apparatus, that is 8 kinds of cognition(8-Sik). Causality being also the main thought of Buddhism. The cutting of the chain of Cause & Result is overcome by introducing the 7th&8th cognition(so called, Araea-Sik) instead of the Unconsciousness. This includes 6 areas of cognition according to 6 sense organs(6-Sik), 7th cognition(Malna-Sik), past deeds and events, predetermined results( Uhp). In this writing, the author compares P. A. & Buddhism and searches for more understanding.
